• Don’t wear jewellery or watches during training.
  • Keep long hair tied back, neat and tidy.
  • Keep your finger and toe nails short and clean.
  • Don’t chew gum while training or in the dojang.
  • Make sure to wear all your sparring gear including your gum shield and groin guard in sparring classes.
  • Use goggles or protective cover over your prescription glasses in sparring classes.
  • Don’t use excessive force when sparring younger students or lower belts.
  • If you have any injury, tell your instructor before class begins. If you are injured during class, report it right away.
